Rep. Adam Kinzinger(R-IL)

Thursday during a forum with senior citizens in Ottawa Illinois RINO congressman Adam Kinzinger was asked why he and his fellow establishment Republicans had failed to repeal Obamacare by a constituent.  Kinzinger responded that the Boehner/Ryan lead House had voted dozens of times to repeal all or parts of the (Un)Affordable (No)Care (Unconstitutional)Act, but those efforts were blocked by Senate Democrats until recently, and that President Obama vetoed the one repeal measure that did pass the Senate, a veto Kinzinger reminded the auidence that Congress did not have the votes to override.  It was a system that Kinzinger said the people could blame the Founding Fathers for.  Kinzinger added that he understands people are upset that Obamacare hasn’t been repealed by that he “never promised anything that we couldn’t deliver.” David Giuliani of the Ottawa Times reports.

Republicans have controlled Congress since 2011, yet the Affordable Care Act and other spending programs remain.

This is something that Ottawa resident Daniel Foltynewicz pointed out to U.S. Rep. Adam Kinzinger, R-Channahon, on Thursday during a senior citizens forum at Pleasant View in Ottawa.

“You were supposed to deliver. You failed to deliver,” Foltynewicz said.

“I get that you can be upset about that,” the congressman said. “But I never promised anything that we couldn’t deliver.”

When Foltynewicz pressed the congressman on the Affordable Care Act, Kinzinger said the Constitution contains a system of checks and balances.

“You can take that up with the founding fathers,” he said.

While Kinzinger has a technical point, he gets everything else wrong.

Obamacare is still around because spineless, unprincipled establishment lawmakers like Kinzinger have refused to fight to get the socialized piece of healthcare destroying garbage repealed.

Back in 2013 weeks before Ted Cruz lead an effort to defund Obamacare, Kinzinger was blasting the entire concept of using the power of the purse to begin to affect change, like Kinzinger, Boehner, McConnell and the rest had promised to do during the 2010 and ’12 campaigns(and would again in ’14). He said back then that any government shutdown or other defunding effort would end up cost Republicans control of the House and would keep them from winning the Senate in ’14. Well Ted Cruz did shut down the federal governments non-essential parts for a little over 2 weeks  and nothing that Adam Kinzinger predicted would happen because of it came true, in fact the exact opposite things happened, Republicans held the House easily, and WON the Senate.

It is a real shame that Kinzinger is going to skate into another term as he has no opponent(even if the Dems did field one this district is too R for them to ever win), this guy is a real embarrassment.
